God… as revealed in scripture as the Creator and life-source of all created beings and through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ… the Son of the Living God, the Word made flesh, part of the Trinity, fully human and fully divine; Savior of the World and of our souls.
Holy Spirit… as the power and presence of God, sustaining and breathing revelation of God throughout all creation.
Baptism… is the outward expression of an inward faith whereby we are submersed in water representing dying and being buried with Jesus and raised out of the water with Christ into newness of life.
The Lord’s Supper… is an open invitation, every Sunday, to the table to all believers regardless of background, denomination or church membership.
Personal Theology… is encouraged for each believer to take responsibility to study the scriptures, and being led by the Holy Spirit, derive God’s message in their life. We are not bogged down with doctrines, dogmas and creeds. We embrace the rich Disciples of Christ tradition of “No book but the Bible…No Creed but Christ…Where the scriptures speak, we speak. Where the scripture is silent, we are silent.” We are simply Christians seeking to be more like Jesus and assist others in that same hope.
Inclusive Ministry… is embracing the theme of the “Priesthood of all Believers” in which we are all included in performing the duties of God’s chosen people.
It is a family of churches in the United States and Canada that centers its faith on Jesus Christ, promotes Christian unity and affirms that every person is welcome at the Lord’s Table.
We believe that Jesus is Lord and Savior, that the Bible is our guide, and that we are called to live in love, service and reconciliation.
It means that everyone who wishes to draw near to Christ may take part, without restrictions or additional requirements.
We consider it the inspired Word that guides us in faith and in daily life. We study and interpret it with responsibility and freedom.
Every person may study the Word, pray and discern God’s will without mandatory creeds being imposed.
Because we remember the sacrifice of Jesus, renew our faith and affirm our unity as a community.
We practice baptism by immersion as a conscious act of faith, while respecting other baptismal practices.
It means that we work for peace, respect and collaboration among all who follow Christ.
By serving our neighbor, promoting justice, accompanying those who suffer and sharing the love of Jesus.
Anyone who wants to follow Jesus and walk in community is welcome.
