Channels of Blessing: The Gospel Thrives Through Us

Called to Be Channels, Not Reservoirs

When we consider the vastness of God’s love and the undeserved gift of salvation by grace through faith, it is natural to feel grateful. Yet grace was not designed to stay still in us. God calls us to be channels of blessing: living streams through which His love, His hope and the promise of eternal life flow out to the people around us in St. Petersburg and beyond.

“How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?” — Romans 10:14

The Journey of Faith: Hearing, Believing and Obeying

When we decide to share the Gospel with simplicity, compassion and authenticity, the Word opens the way. People hear the good news and discover that God is not distant, but eager to transform their lives.

As hearts open to the Savior, faith blossoms. Those who receive this promise choose to take a public step of surrender through believer’s baptism, a joyful testimony that they have left the old way behind to rise to a new life in Christ Jesus.

A Community That Grows in Grace

The true growth of the church does not depend on great human strategies, but on lives transformed by the truth of the Gospel. When every believer takes up their role as a bearer of the faith:

  • Families find restoration, support and hope.

  • Our community sees the tangible impact of God’s love.

  • Our congregation opens its arms to welcome new brothers and sisters in the faith.

In the Hispanic Ministry of Palm Lake Christian Church, we long to be a family where everyone who seeks God finds a refuge of faith, a warm community and a table where we celebrate the presence of the Lord.

An Invitation for Your Week

We encourage you to pray this week, asking yourself: Whom can I bless today? With whom can I share a word of encouragement or a testimony of what Christ has done in my life? Let God use you as a channel of His grace.

We would love to worship alongside you this Sunday, at 11:00 AM (English) or 2:00 PM (Spanish). Come as you are, and let us celebrate together the wonders of our God.
